Description
This is an extremely accurate .223 Remington load purpose built for matches and long range shooting. The famous 77gr Sierra MatchKing Open Tipped Match (77gr SMK OTM) design assures superb accuracy, flat trajectory, and high momentum delivery with low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges.
Each load is precisely crafted to deliver the very most from the weapon system. We start with the very best components, including Lake City brass cases, a high performance non-canister OEM propellant, and a USA made quality primer.
These rounds are meant to push the limits of your weapon system and push the limits of what you have. Most accuracy from a rifle comes from the ammunition used be the weapon itself, so give them a try and see the true accuracy of your rifle today!
While they are recognized around the world for accuracy, Match King bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Due to the nature of the projectile and lack of expansion, it is recommended for hunting applications to use our 70 gr 223 Barnes TSX round.
Precision loading techniques ensuring concentricity, uniformity of bullet pull, seating depth and consistent powder charges yield highly accurate cartridges which will perform when precision is needed most. And as with all ASYM PRECISION Ammunition, each round we produce is chamber checked as well as hand inspected for defects and deformities that potentially could have occurred during the manufacturing process. Once all of these are combined, the ASYM 77gr SMK OTM is one of the best performing 223 rounds on the market today.
The 77gr SMK round is recommended for barrels with a 1:7” or 1:8” twist. If you have a 1:9” twist ASYM recommends our 55gr V-Max .223 Round.
